The Grand City Show Skiers are your local “Show” water ski team, one of only 2 such teams in the state of Michigan. Show skiing is a theatrical, team-based sport that combines various water skiing disciplines with synchronized routines, music, costumes, and storytelling to create a live “Broadway on water” performance for audiences. Featuring acts like human pyramids, ballet lines, jumping, barefooting and more, It’s a family-friendly activity with amateur performers of all ages, emphasizing teamwork, entertainment and fun.
Their show dates for 2026 are the following Thursdays:
- June: 4th, 11th, 25th
- July: 2nd, 23rd, 30th
- August: 6th, 13th, 20th
The show begins at 6:30pm with the preshow, and the main show runs from 7pm to 8pm
They will also be performing at this years Arts and Drafts Festival on August 15th from 6pm-7pm
While the full shows are on Thursdays, you can also catch them practicing on Monday and Tuesday nights and occasionally on a Saturday morning.
