The City of Norton Shores Parks & Recreation Division coordinates several recreational programs for its residents as well as non-residents. (Resident participants are those living in Norton Shores or Roosevelt Park. All others are considered non-residents.) Softball
The City of Norton Shores offers weeknight slowpitch leagues for both Mens and Coed teams. In 2018, we will also be hosting several NSA-sanctioned weekend slowpitch tournaments. Both regular leagues and tournaments play at the beautiful, groomed fields at Ross Park.

Youth Hockey
We offer leagues for players from K - 1st year college student, divided up into 3 age-divisions. All practices and games are at the Lakeshore Sports Centre, and are on full-ice.

Little Cheers & Poms
For K - 3rd graders, the Little Cheers & Poms program is a combination class with students learning both an assortment of cheers and a short dance routine. The class is offered in 8-week sessions in both the spring and fall and takes place on Saturday mornings in the Community Room in the Norton Shores Branch Library building on Seminole Road.
